TESTIMONIALS FROM OUR AWESOME STUDENTS AND CLIENTS!
"I've boarded my horse at Chapeski's stables for several years. The facility is extensive, well maintained, safe and very comfortable for the horses and their owners. I've benefited greatly from the riding instruction that I've received from Olivia, who has a keen eye for correct rider position and the rider's influence on the horse. Both Bob and Olivia are professional dressage competitors who obviously enjoy sharing their expertise with others by training horses and their riders. "

"In June of this year, I decided to put my 4-year-old TB/Percheron cross (Dawson) in dressage training with Olivia Chapeski at Chapeski Dressage. I have been working with Olivia on a couple of my other horses in the last couple of years, as well as I had been observing her training process with other clients' horses during that same time period. Although I'd had Dawson since he was a 3-year-old, I hadn't considered him as a dressage prospect until the beginning of this year. After determining that the horse I was riding in dressage was better suited for Eventing (also with the help and advice of Olivia) I sold him, and at that time put Dawson under the care and training of Olivia for approximately 8 weeks. In that 8 week period of time, Dawson made excellent progress. He was merely a green broke trail horse when I sent him over to Chapeski Dressage. Olivia put an excellent dressage foundation on him, he progressed rapidly under her training program and both Olivia and I feel that come spring, Dawson will be ready to come on strong for the 2014 show season! I continue to take lessons on Dawson under Olivia's instruction and I am really pleased with my horse's progress. I thank Olivia and Chapeski Dressage for starting Dawson "off on the right foot" as far as his dressage schooling is concerned; we continue to work together and are looking forward to an exciting and bright future for all."

"I started taking lessons with Olivia Chapeski after competing in a local show against her. After seeing her ride and the results of the show I realized nobody had a shot against her and the next day I contacted her. I have ridden with other trainers but never had a lesson to the extent like Olivia gives. She is able to notice every single tiny thing my horse and I are doing and as exhausting as it is, we end up better after every lesson. She makes riding look effortless and the horses positively respond to her.
This spring I brought along my very "non-traditional" horse to ride after I had a lesson to give him some exercise. After my lesson I was tired and Olivia offered to get on and ride him for me. She picked up on his willingness to learn and that day I decided to put him into training to see what she could do with him. We had no idea how the judges would react to him but signed up for his first show 2 months after starting in training with Olivia. Not only did they do well, they ended up winning their classes and earning highpoint at all four shows they went to and finished the year winning a USDF All-breeds award.
Olivia's knowledge of dressage and jumping continues to amaze me and I am always learning from her. As intimidated as I was to contact her after that first time I saw her ride, I am so glad I did. Chapeski barn is now my "little slice of heaven" and I don't ever see myself leaving."

"I met Olivia Chapeski 4 years ago when I was looking for someone to start my young Andalusian, Rio, under saddle. To make a long story short, she started him under saddle, quickly recognized his potential and then expressed an interest in buying him from me. I initially said no, but after a few months of soul searching recognized that it was an opportunity for Rio to move up the levels and shine, something we could not have afforded to do with him. It was one of the hardest decisions I've ever made. It was heartwrenching losing a horse I had raised and one I had never planned to sell. Olivia has never forgotten that for one minute, and has been kind enough, all along, to share with me and update me on his life, his progress, and their accomplishments. She's even offered to let me ride him! In the end it turned out to be a match made in heaven between Rio and Olivia. And ultimately very rewarding to be able to watch their success in the show ring. Olivia, aside from her obvious talent, is probably the most honest and conscientious horse professional I have ever met. She truly cares for and loves her horses, as well as those of her students and those she takes into her program. I believe that it is not just a business for her, but a true passion. She is not only my horse trainer, (she has since started another of my young horses) but my good friend, and someone who I turn to for advice. We are very lucky to have her in western Montana."

"For quite a few years I floundered in my dressage riding, training, and competing. I needed help, then I remembered we had some folks down in Lolo that regularly go to Championships, and WIN. I thought, I want to do that. So, I contacted my old acquaintance, Olivia Chapeski. She took me and my largish, not too well trained horse, and taught us all about contact and the meaning of collection. A not too short 18 months later, she took us to Regional Championships in Devonwood, OR. Now, we didn't win, but we did do quite well and even got a ribbon in a 2nd level Championship class. At Chapeski Dressage, Olivia and her father are true horse people and true friends. And, for as long as they will have me, I will be there taking lessons and continuing to show under their tutelage."

"Committing to riding dressage is a life changing endeavor. I have been lucky to have a coach, Bob Chapeski, who is also committed not only to the sport of dressage, but to his students. His constant availability and professionalism to conduct a lesson, answer a question or go over a judge's comments always amazes me. My transformation, along with my non-traditional dressage horse, has been successful with Bob's program. In a short period of time he has taken us from Training Level to competing in Third Level this past year. Some winning highlights consist of: All-Breeds Champion in Training, First, Second and Third Levels, Dover Merit Winner, 2012, Region 6 First Level Champion and Second Level Reserve Champion, as well as the USDF Bronze Medal Rider Award. Bob is a very successful competitor who is an inspiration to us all. Thanks Coach!"
